Sawyer: 20 Months

20 Months!!!
20 Months Old!! Only 4 months away from the big 2! He already knows that and will answer the question "How old will you be on your birthday?" He is a rambunctious, rough and tough little boy but is so loving and sweet. He loves the cardinals and tells everyone "GO CARDINALS!" His little voice is adorable and he knows how to communicate what he wants completely. A couple major changes this month....he got his first hair cut and he actually enjoys watching movies! We had some family photos taken for our Christmas Card and we got a sneak peak at a few that I have included below. My friend & Coworker Cheryl did them and she is amazing!

Where's Sawyer?
Wee!
Playing: Loves playing in his tunnels and building towers just to knock them down. He even loves making blankets into forts and hiding under them. Running and hiding is always a favorite pastime. He has become obsessed with the movie "Wreck it Ralph" and watches it everyday after school. Every time we are in the car we watches the movies "Cars". It has become quite the routine. Still loves to read and  his favorite book right now is Oh My Oh My Oh Dinosaur.

Teething:  All his teeth are in!
Paisley feeding Sawyer Coffee
Talking:  This boy says everything. Whenever I think he doesn't understand something he proves me wrong. He says 2 and 3 word sentences and understands practically everything. He is also very polite and says please, thank you and your welcome. My favorite thing is in the morning when I drop him off to school he says "bye bye mommy, love you" and then kisses me and walks to the window to wave to me as I drive away. Melts my heart every time.
My handsome young man
Potty Training: has gone 3-4 times on the potty this month but still not 100% sold on the whole idea.

Other developments:  Has been known to be a little rough at school, pushes when someone tries to take his things. We are working on "gentle" touches and re-directing him but it is still a work in progress. Tantrums are still going strong but hasn't had as many this month. He did have another ear infection last week and is on antibiotics, hopefully the don't keep happening. We go back in a month to follow-up.
