Scout's Nursery // Modern Explorer

We had so much fun planning another boy nursery for our Scout. His name to us represents an "adventurer", "outdoorsman" and an "explorer." So, we wanted a nursery that portrays not only those items but also has some modern and sophisticated elements. It came together very easily for us this second time and we couldn't be happier with how clean and bright it is. We were able to re-purpose some items from Sawyer's nursery and found some really great antique pieces that added a bit of charm. Shopping details listed below...

Home Updates // Round II

As I sit in my new living room composing this blog, as cheesy as it may sound, I look around and feel beyond blessed. This home is something we have wanted since the day John and I started our life together. It is a place we can grow our family and make many life long memories (already some great ones in the books). Making this house our home as been very organic, picking items that make us happy and comfy, functional but ultimately reflecting our personalities and things we love. I am so pleased with everything we have been able to add and are about 90% done. I still would like to make some updates to the upstairs but that will come with time. We have one empty room downstairs we are deciding what we would like to do with! More updates to come.
Here are some pictures of our recent updates.
