Sawyer's checkup & Family Visit

Great Report Card!

Sawyer had his 2 week checkup with his pediatrician today (he is actually 17 days old but whose counting).  He did great, didn't even cry when we made him lay in just a diaper for 20 minutes on the cold table. The best news is he gained a pound and 2 ounces, for a healthy weight of 9 lbs 7 oz. We left with a clean bill of health except he did get the allergy gene from both his father and me but it is nothing a little saline nose spray can't fix. He got his first Hepatitis B shot which was so hard for me to watch! He handled it better than I did.
Here are his percentile stats:
Length = between percentile 50 and 75 
Weight = above percentile 95 
Head Circumference = between percentile 50 and 75

I'm so ready for this!

I'm such a big boy!

Sawyer also had a busy weekend! His Great Aunt Julie (or Grand Aunt Jules as she prefers) & Uncle Scott and second cousin Meghan and her boyfriend Nick came to meet him from St. Louis. He enjoyed his first trip to Big Whiskey's for the Mizzou game as well as lots of good quality snuggle time. We got to Skype his other second cousin, Erin in Scotland Sunday so she could see him for the first time. We are looking forward to her getting to see him in person when she returns in August. He even flipped over again for them for a total of 4 times this weekend. We are planning a trip to St. Louis in April so he can meet more family as well.
