365 Days of Wedded Bliss

I've said it before but time really flies when you are in love!
John and I are celebrating our 1 year anniversary today and we couldn't be happier. It is hard to believe that this time last year we were getting ready to walk down the aisle and now we are getting ready to walk out of a hospital with our baby son. What a blessing!
Although we have only been married one year, our relationship has really grown over our 12 years together and I can't wait to see what's in store for the next 12, 20, 50.......

John, I love you and can't wait to not only call you husband but father to our little man. 

We celebrated by going to dinner at Rebecca Grille and enjoying a relaxing night at home (watching some It's Always Sunny, of course), something we won't get to do quite as much in a few weeks. I surprised John with a Daddy Diaper Bag, so he doesn't have to lug around my "girly" one.

Less than a month

We are down to less than a month my friends! This will be our last christmas before we become husband and wife. We are both eagerly awaiting the big day and want to say thank all of our friends and family for all of the help the past few months. We wouldn't be as prepared without your help.

My dress

So many things have fallen in to place in the past week. Invitations have been mailed and RSVPs continue to come in, John's ring came in and fits great, my veil was finished yesterday, we booked our cermony music and the most exciting of all....I picked up my dress tonight and it fits perfectly.
I wish I could post pictures but you will just have to wait until Jan. 22, 2011.
My mother and maid of honor joined me and we even were able to pick out my grandma's jewerly that I will wear. Everyday as we get closer is exciting, I love every minute of it!

Bowie The Great Moves in

Bowie officially moved in all 170 pounds of him. Him and Faith and best buds and get along way better than we anticipated. They have politely exchanged toys; bowie has already devoured her elephant squeaky toy and faith hoards his giant bones. They are a match made in heaven

Time really flies when you are in love, I can't believe we are down to 60 days.
John's ring is now ordered, my dress should be here anyday, cake topper arrived, guys suits are all ordered...so many things checked off it feels good just to enjoy the ride.

Better Late than Never

I know, it's 16 days after Mr. Hamra's birthday but better now than never. John Farris Hamra turned the big 28 (or as I like to refer to it as 30 minus 2) October 6. We celebrated at Parlor 88 East with friends & some family. Besides the birthday boy,  the mustache's were the hit of the party.
I would love to include the 28 reasons why I love John but 28 doesn't come close to enough reasons. He is the most loving, kind person I know and I can't wait to be his wifey (or as he calls me his soon-to-be)
