It might actually be spring here in Springfield!!! With the beautiful weather we had last weekend, Saturday my parents, Sawyer and I decided to spend the afternoon at
Dickerson Park Zoo. It was Sawyer's first trip to the Springfield Zoo. We took him to the St. Louis Zoo last fall (
see post here) when he was 7 months but he didn't quite appreciate it like he did last weekend. His favorite were the monkeys and the deer. He also got to chase a peacock. We plan to take him back a few times this summer.
